Al Andalus American Diploma Students Ace the TOEFL

Nov. 2, 2009 - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Eight eleventh grade Al Andalus Private School students took the TOEFL test by storm and scored between 550 and 623 on the official IBT test.

Careful preparation and hard work by the students helped them to achieve their goal of scoring between 550 and 600 on the TOEFL at the end of eleventh grade. Most good western universities look for an English proficiency above 550 on the TOEFL for serious admission consideration.

This achievement is a turning point in Saudi education because it not only demonstrates what is possible for second language students but it clearly affirms the delivery of quality education in Saudi schools.
