A Glimpse of Al-Andalus
Al-Andalus Private School currently operates in three cities in Saudi Arabia: Jeddah, Rabegh, and Ta’if. The school has a 27-year history of educating Jeddah’s finest students and now caters to an elite segment of the society set on preparing students for university studies abroad.
Fall of the 2007-2008 school year marked the beginning of a new chapter for Al-Andalus with the completion of a multi-million dollar extension to the current campus, which is now home to the American Diploma Program.
The American Diploma Program was designed to meet the emerging needs of Saudi educational culture, which continues to undergo major reconstruction in light of the growing demand for students to be educated in English.
Currently, the American Diploma Program at the Elementary School in Jeddah accommodates Grades 1-4, while the High School is open to young men in Grades 10-12. The two campuses are just minutes apart and include a pool, basketball courts, soccer fields, a recreation room, and an auditorium.
The Definition of Modern Arabia
Jeddah stretches along the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. Just one hour west of Mecca, this large, but quiet city is the definition of modern Arabia: a mosaic of malls and mosques, ancient tradition mixed with the latest technology, and countless influences from the Eastern and Western world alike.
